Pillsbury Bake-off Contest
Branding & Identity, Campaign Design, Web, Print
The Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest has been an American tradition since 1949 when the first recipe contest was held. Eleanor Roosevelt presented the first Grand-Prize Winner! In 2017, I was tasked with rebranding the contest to bring it up to date and promote it in a new way on Pillsbury.com. I created a new logo and identity system for the campaign, designed and art directed all creative assets & photoshoots, and produced hundreds of assets for display, social, print and in-store shopper marketing.
For the 2018 Contest, I concepted, art directed & designed a 4-page inside-cover fold out that appeared in the September 2018 Issue of Food Network Magazine. The spread is built from a single photo, and required extensive planning pre-shoot to ensure all elements would fit once the final asset was produced.
For all phases of the competition, which lasted for about 6 months from Entry to the Grand-Prize Winner announcement, a custom landing page experience on Pillsbury.com was updated frequently with new graphics and content.
